ConnectWise didn’t disappoint managed services providers (MSPs) at IT Nation Connect this year. At the event, the Orlando, FL-based IT software company revealed several new product developments and programs designed to assist MSPs in the new year and beyond with what it’s calling “the future of RMM.”

Headlining the conference this year was Asio, ConnectWise’s new unified platform that “provides scalability, intelligent automation, and value-added reporting and insights to deliver rapid innovation,” according to the company. Asio addresses the fact that MSPs no longer manage just physical and virtual endpoints, but users, cloud applications and infrastructure, and IoT; allows ConnectWise to remove duplicate engineering work that exists today; and streamlines the development cycle for all its products.

ConnectWise also launched a ConnectWise RMM, a new solution “intended as the next generation of Automate,” according to the company. Built on the Asio platform, ConnectWise RMM aggregates both software and human elements; covers the spectrum of do-it-yourself (DIY) and do-it-for-you (DFY) delivery options, and integrates an intelligent automation engine. The IT software company’s goal for ConnectWise RMM is to reinvent “how IT solution providers adopt, interact with and manage their RMM,” according to the company.

ConnectWise also made several other announcements at its annual event:

  • All partners now have access to the ConnectWise Partner program, enabling them to build cybersecurity practices with ConnectWise offerings.
  • With Modes Theory, partners can refine their business approach based on desired outcomes. More than 300 ConnectWise partners have tested this methodology, developed in collaboration with partners to date.
  • ConnectWise added new security measures to ConnectWise Invent, the company’s official program for integration vendors in the TSP ecosystem, to ensure certified integrations are secure. The new program also includes a security review of all integrations in addition to integration certification.
  • ConnectWise is launching an online community dedicated to helping IT Nation Cohorts and technology solution providers (TSPs) engage with peers and product managers about ConnectWise products and services in the new year.

“These are challenging times for our industry,” said Jason Magee, CEO of ConnectWise. “IT solution providers are working through digital transformation, dealing with technology shifts at hyper-scale speed and preparing for impending market consolidation, all while battling cybercriminals who threaten them and their customers. We know this, and we’ve been hard at work re-imagining how we can help IT solution providers meet these challenges head-on and thrive.”
